Can I use QuoteStak for multiple types of work on the same property?
Yes. Each plan covers one type of work at a time. If your project involves multiple trades -- for example a kitchen remodel that needs both plumbing and electrical -- simply start a new project for each trade. Your dashboard keeps all your projects organized in one place.
What if I only need one trade?
Bid gathering is built for single trades. QuoteStak gathers multiple competing bids and stacks them side by side so you can secure the best offer. That requires more than one bid to work, so a single bid is not a comparison.
Do you take a percentage of the project cost?
Not for bid gathering. QuoteStak charges a flat fee to find contractors and collect bids for you to compare. We do not take a cut from your project cost or from contractors for this service.
Do contractors pay to be on QuoteStak?
No. Contractors are never charged. That is how we stay on your side.
What is your refund policy?
Your project scope and contractor outreach is prepared immediately after payment, so we do not offer customer-initiated refunds once you have paid. However, we automatically refund you in two situations. If we cannot find enough qualified contractors in your area, you receive a full refund. If we can only deliver some of the bids you paid for, you receive a partial refund proportional to the undelivered bids. No action required on your part.
How long does it take to receive bids?
After completing your project scope, your dashboard is ready immediately with prepared outreach for each contractor. Once you send the messages, contractors have built-in response deadlines based on your timeline through the QuoteStak portal.
What happens after QuoteStak makes the introduction?
Once we connect you with your contractor our job is done. QuoteStak finds highly rated local contractors, gathers competitive bids for you to compare, and makes a warm introduction. Everything after that is between you and your contractor. If your original contractor does not follow through, you can return to your dashboard and accept the next best bid at any time with no additional charge.
